Oh the bluster of the wind outside matched that from beneath my duvet. Windy windy windy.

Kids got up when I bellowed and all in on time for first day back at school.

I had to visit the post office, Asda, the pet shop too before I had chance to make my scramble egg breakfast!

I then began the new year paper sift…. Sorting the finances and scrap paper from the important stuff and realising I was in no less debt than I was last year!

Ah well!

Collected the kids and home for yummy gammon and salad with a juicy corn on its cob too.

Relaxed at night as procrastination was missing today and I even had a clear up in the outside gales in the garden and had to at one point save the ferrets from shivery when their roof had popped up!

Fun filled day…. Yuptoo?

Had to remind myself the day half way through the day but it didn’t seem to matter other than it being the last day of til the kids go back to school.

The history project to build a castle with a moat was complete before tea time even if it hadn’t dried …. Even as I write this it’s still wet… Ah maybe it’ll be dry for the morning… Or by Easter!

Today was a dry run to get up early and the arm went off at 7am….. I shouted the girls at 7.30…. They grunted back while I watched a documentary on Pixar….. I then looked at the clock and it appeared to have shifted to 9.30 while I had rested my eyes…DOH!

Willy wonka was our chosen film to enjoy our lunch (me n poppy had fish finger butties – cos we could) and Seren had her usual ham butty?.. With… Wait for it…. Angel delight with chocolate buttons on top with hundreds n thousands on…. Oh yeah!

Poppy had a play out and Seren had more homework to do that she’d ‘just’ remembered.

Last day before school has just got to mean chippy tea. So chippy tea it was…. Chip butties are probably not one of our one a day but is there a more glorious way to sign of your chrimbo jollies?

Kids to bed….

Cleaned shoes, found ties, got pe kits, did pack lunch, swept floors, mopped floors, emptied dishwasher, went for shower… Poppy still up… Roared a little, had shower, came to bed…makin plans……

Happy New Year

From me to you I bid you a splendid 2012…

My resolution to not procrastinate didn’t prevail until I’d procrastinated in bed until 11am and finally moved from pillow to couch in one sweeping movement.

Watermelon breakfast for all, dad took up like a butler to one daughter reading and the other snoring….. Bless.

Soon after we were closing the curtains downstairs and watching Harry potter to the smell of my scrambled egg on toast with pruscetta or some thin fried foreign ham type stuff mixed with the chickens unshelled goods.

Seren pointed out she had homework which involved making a castle grounds and surrounds for her first day back in school IN TWO DAYS!

The flour/ water and salt mix was splendid and did the job.

We have ferrets. Four of. We had more but they escape…. And today one escaped to the dismay of animal loving Seren….. In tears I pointed behind her where a shivering little thing popped out her head and was welcomed back with her kin folk in their home.

I’m 16 days into a 26 day break from work but soon I shall be back to it…. But before… I am to return to my writing …. Watch this space…. Who am I talking to? No one reads this anyway…. My por wasted words

Not good. Not good at all. How I managed to actually get out of my bed at anytime was a miracle… I even managed some food before I went to bed. The kids came home at tea time and played with Sam next door… I declined a pint with Nick much to his laughter!

Friday 6th November 2009

I left my friends bed just after 5am and back to mine by 5.30 for an hour or so sleep before waking up nice and fresh for work… thank God work was relaxing …….until the last hour and then bedlam begun!

I left an hour late and wasn’t to concerned about sending out the wrong information and having to resend the correct stuff again!

Home via the Chinese as I needed a quick feed and leftovers for later!

Out to the school reunion… wasn’t expecting many there and wasn’t expected to not get a lift there… wasn’t expecting to get rained and and wasn’t expected to pay EIGHTY PENCE for a 2 bus stop journey… everybody all together… ROBBIN BASTARDS!

So I arrive to some familiar faces anf the night goes swimmingly catching up with old haggered old faces of old.

I began to drink… and drank some more.. then drank too much… then was invited to touch a ladies boobie…. So I did… then I did some body language reading… and got a taxi home… then it kind of all a blank then!

Last nights excitement ventured me to a hangover this morning so I was a little bit groggy as I kissed my babies goodbye on the school playground.

Poppy delighted me by beginning to sing Frère Jacques all the way there…. Forgetting it… then singing it again!

In work and my head wasn’t helped by a journey to train myself to do something in work that took 3 hours and many journeys up and down the stairs at work.

Got over the mither with a trip for lunch for crappy meal but got me through an early afternoon of flirting.

The flirting spurred me on so I went to see an old friend who insisted I slept over…. So I did!

Wednesday 4th November 2009

Woke up.. got out of bed… too close to 8 for my liking but we were all out in time. My morning free took me to deliver an item that needed assembling to an old work colleague and £10 was taken to Sainsbury’s to feed my rough head….. A couple of fruity text messages from an old friend carried me to St Helens to see another ex colleague to offload a load of kids clothes and play up clothes to the value of £70… I stopped for a brew and a chat and then came home to work on some writing… but I didn’t write…. I was so tired… I had a butty, watched some tele and by the time I was ready for a nap I had to go get the kids from school!

 

Home and bathed the kids and decided to treat mum and Phil to a Chinese with my new found money (almost gone due to petshop trip and ASDA visit too!

 

And then…. The news…. If I get the money from the bank… and I can afford to go to Disney… THEY WILL COME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!

 

OH ITS ALL REAL NOW…. AM I REALLY OFF TO DISNEY??????

Back to work… no sooner was I back deleting 500 emails that I was so busy it was silly.

I then noticed I was off tomorrow and I’d forgot so I was happy and sad at the same time cos I love what I’m doing at the moment.

I was able to finish off last nights leftover pie and gravy then the kids came back late as they had gone to collect my mum with their granddad from the airport from her little jaunt away.

The kids went straight to bed and I looked around the house at how clean I’d got it…whoo hoo.

On the net til 2am talking and having a glass or two of wine and trying to play an old Extreme song on my unplugged electric guitar.

Monday 2nd November 2009

I tried to get up early… I even set my alarms off the same amount of times I normally do… but it didn’t work. The kids had today off while their teachers had a training day….  we should’ve got up to get ready for tomorrows actual early up day…. I hope tomorrow we get up on time… early ups when you have to be up early should be easy…. Lets fuckin hope so!

So breakfast around 10…ish and then I set towards the mess that needs sorting and got on to sort it… no TV other than Harry Hill that we all sat and watched together.

I managed to make £85 today… old clothes and some Disney stuff…. Not collected yet but may turn into £2 coins to put towards my Disney funds.

Looked at my shares and my Dragon Oil 100 shares are each 446.5p and my 66 BT shares are at 133.9p…. you do the maths minus the commission that should be almost £500 that will be cashed in… I have almost £500 in work banked up so gonna cash them in for Christmas when I get back into work.

Kids were ace all day and played nice at home with no visitors or going any further than the recycling place for some clothes…. Simple things are pleasing… when the kids woke up this morning Seren said Poppy had a spotty bum… Poppy said that she had ‘Chicken Spotty Bum Spots!’ ahhh.

I made pie and my gravy for tea and managed to get the house almost clear before the kids went to bed. Back to Harry Hill and ‘You’ve been Framed’ before they went to bed.

I ironed and cleared the decks (even put the ironing away!!!!) and had time to have half hour before bed.

Looking forward to going into work tomorrow… lets hope this role I have continues for a long long time.

Pins n needle in my leg before bed…sat funny!

My guest gave me the lye in privilege before texting me to get my arse out of bed!

I dropped her off at the car venue she left the car last night in the pouring raing and I went to get the kids. We got home and then I let the couch guide me to the afternoon. I got a visitor (the sickmonger from last night had brough a gift of red wine for me to indulge) bless her. She said her hubby was home waiting (long story) and she told him where she’d been… I expected bricks thru windows but I think he knows me better than that… I HOPE!

Phil made Sunday tea for all in the absence of mum and it was lush… he even let me have the fat from the ham…. Mmm and the spuds crispy and nice…mmm

Home and house still a mess after I decided to try to sort out more stuff…!

Kids to bed early for a pre school pre back to school night eve sleep..

I was wooed by text by a lady with the same mindset as me… nowt dirty you mucky sod… AND I got a text from a sexy lady saying she saw I’d mentioned her in Yuptoo Too!!! Whoo hoo ha ha.
